This course is intended for people who want to edit, fix, or maintain a WordPress site, but don’t have a technical background. Before taking this course, you will need to know:

  • The different areas of the WordPress Dashboard
  • How to find and change settings for plugins and themes
  • Where WordPress stores data and files
  • How a domain name, a hosting server, and WordPress relate to each other

You’ll also need Administrator-level access to a WordPress site that you can break without terrible consequences.

If you’re not sure about any of this, you may want to take the WordPress Primer first to refresh your knowledge.

This course will work on mobile devices, but is best taken on a laptop or desktop computer as that is the environment you will need for troubleshooting.
